The Tales of Hoffmann (1951, directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger) is one of most experimental and audacious operatic films of the twentieth century, a riotous cinematic fantasy of Technicolour,
music and dance that tells the story of poet Hoffmann’s (Robert Rounseville) three lost loves.
Based on this concept, we created a shoot with a theatrical, fantastical feel, focusing on colour, extravagance and a surrealist atmosphere and featuring the work of exciting emerging designers such as Luis de Javier,Gabriella Martinez Gonzalez, Stef Van Looveren, Andres Sarda and Soft Skin Latex.
